These irresistibly chewy cookies feature rich brown butter and melty chocolate chips, perfect for any sweet tooth.

Instructions
Brown the butter in a saucepan until golden and fragrant, then cool for 20-30 minutes.
Mix flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl. Combine cooled brown butter with sugars, then add egg, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
Fold in flour mixture and chocolate chips, then chill the dough for 1-4 hours.
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Scoop dough onto baking sheets, press extra chocolate on top, and bake for 8-10 minutes.
Cool cookies on sheets for 2 minutes, then transfer to wire racks. Sprinkle with sea salt if desired and enjoy!
Notes
For taller cookies, adjust baking soda and baking time accordingly.
