Instructions
Heat oil and sauté diced onion for 5-6 minutes until translucent, then add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
Add ground beef, cook until browned, then drain excess grease if desired.
Stir in spices, chipotle peppers, and adobo sauce; cook for 2 minutes.
Pour in crushed tomatoes, beef broth, and beans; bring to a boil, then simmer for 45-60 minutes.
Adjust salt and pepper, serve with lime, sour cream, and cilantro.
Notes
For a milder flavor, reduce the number of chipotle peppers.
