A hearty and flavorful chili perfect for a quick weeknight dinner, combining ground beef, beans, and spices.

red peppers

diced tomatoes with juices

kidney beans with juices

Instructions
Heat oil in a heavy pot, add beef, onions, peppers, and half of the spices. Cook until meat is nearly done and veggies are translucent (~7 min).
Add garlic, beans, tomatoes, and remaining spices. Stir well.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer covered for about 40 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Taste and adjust salt or spices as needed. Serve topped with cheese and sour cream if desired.
Notes
This chili is perfect for a comforting meal and can be easily customized with extra spice or toppings.
